The diagnostic process begins with the recognition of the symptoms of diseases and their unification. Living contemplation and abstract thinking - the steps of cognition in general and recognition of the diagnosis in particular - intensify and improve if allegories - symptoms and syndromes expressed in allegorical forms take part in them.

allegory (from Greek "allegoria" - allegory) is an expression of certain ideas (concepts) with the help of specific artistic images, and outwardly the allegory can be distant from the image, but is completely unambiguous with it, for example, the image of death in the form of a skeleton with a scythe, a hippocratic bowl (a snake that encourages a bowl). Allegories accompany many sections of the discipline “Propaedeutics of internal diseases”.

The textbook contributes to the better assimilation and memorization of information by students in the learning process. Allegories are often used in classical medical literature, a feature of this manual is that allegorical concepts on different sections of clinical medicine are concentrated in one edition.
