We present to your attention the book “The Tales” of Pavel Petrovich Bazhov

Pavel Petrovich Bazhov (1879 - 1950) was born and raised in the Urals. For many years he traveled around the Urals and looked for native legends, collected melodies and words of local dialects. Thus, P. Bazhov’s famous tales were born - the traditions of the Ural miners. In these traditions, the past is intertwined with a bit of fiction, and already on the pages of the book in front of the reader are mysterious folklore plots, folk wisdom and strong in spirit heroes.

The book includes three stories: “Blue snake”, “Ognevushka- Poskushka ”and“ Sinyushkinkoload ”.
