Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky (1882–1969) - children's writer, poet, translator and literary critic. He wrote his first fairy tale for his sick son. And then the works of Moidodyr, a cockroach and Barmaley were born. However, not everyone liked them: critics and editors quarreled them by inventing a special term for unusual fairy tales - Chukovshchina.
