Tales of old Vilnius VI. Max Fry
It should be recognized that no one knows the exact number of streets in the old city of Vilnius. Even on geniuses there is no more hope - they said: “One hundred eight,” then they corrected: “Oh, no, sorry, one hundred and thirty -one!” In the meantime, we were bypassing new unfamiliar quarters and recorded stories that entered the sixth volume of fairy tales, the streets re -read the streets, and there were one hundred and forty -six of them. So, instead of the planned five volumes, we will have as many as seven. What, from one side, is good news. And on the other, anarchy and a mess, we will complain.
Otherwise, in our city, life flows calmly and measuredly in our city: police officers make regular raids on the capture of especially evil demons, city spirits are baking cookies, and ordinary Vilnius inhabitants drink cherry beer, interviewed sincerely with the abyss, see dreams And death win - everything is as always.
