Tales of the brothers Grimm. Ed. Kuzmin V.V.
“Brave tailor”, “Red hat”, “Boy-s-firing”, “Snow White”, “Wolf and seven goats” (like the Pushkin’s “The Tale of the Dead Princess” or “On the Fisherman”)- All of them came to us from the fairy tales of the Grimm brothers. Our edition of this legendary meeting is unique at once for two reasons: the first is included in it, and, according to many, the best Russian translation of the fairy tales of the Grimm brothers, created at the end of the 19th century by the writer, historian and literary critic Nikolai Polev (1839-1902). Subsequently, the Brothers Grimm's fairy tales were translated many times, but it was the Field of Field that the first two generations of Russian readers introduced them.
The unique translation is complemented by no less valuable illustrations: drawings of the legendary English artist Arthur Rekham (1867-1939), and Also, the screensavers and vignettes of one of the pillars of the English modern Walter Crane (1845-1915).
... By the way, do you remember the story about the singing and jumping lion's lark or a fairy tale about the mouse, bird and fried sausage? It's time to remember!
