Tamarin. Avdeev M.
Mikhail Vasilievich Avdeev-writer, fiction writer (1821-1876). Born in Orenburg in the family of a wealthy Ural Cossack, a prominent figure in the Yaitsky army. After graduating from a gymnasium in Ufa, he entered the housing of the route. In the Crimean campaign, he was chosen the head of the squad of the Orenburg militia. Avdeev began literary activity in the forties under the influence of Turgenev. Tamarin is the top of the writer's work. A long life in the province gave Avdeev the opportunity to closely observe the type of provincial Pechorin often that often met.
As the author himself wrote, “to trace the further development of the type of heroes of his time, which also had in our representatives, is the goal with which I planned Tamarin... My Tamarin is written from these real Pechorins “The type is wonderful and interesting, who had its brilliant time, when he and others believed in his sincerity, and survived in our eyes until complete and bitter disappointment.” The word "Tamarin" became winged and at that time was constantly used in a common sense, like Onegin or Oblomes.
This work went down in the history of Russian literature as an almost forgotten “Pearl”.
