Tao de Jing. The book of the path and grace. Lao Tzu
Western civilization was not always wise, but my basic principles adhered to my basic principles: life is a battlefield where you should be the first or immediately get ready for the fact that you will be trampled. This combat rhythm of existence did not suit everyone, and then, in search of spiritual guidelines, the eyes of the dissatisfied rushed east.
It was there that the same world could be seen completely differently - calm, harmonious, devoid of the hustle of useless rivalry. If you are tired of the pursuit of the elusive beast, stop, sit at the edge of the path and wait. If Tao pleases, the beast itself will come to you, and if not - why then run?
This book is interesting in that the Taoist teaching is represented in it both in the early and in late interpretations. They say that Confucianism is a Chinese clothing, and Tao is his soul. Look at Tao, perhaps you will find yourself there.
