The end of the 60s. Western intelligence services prepare a provocation in the territory of the Uzbek SSR. According to their plan, a group of saboteurs should organize massive anti -Soviet unrest during a football match at the central stadium of Tashkent, and then explode several important metropolitan objects. This will serve as a signal for the beginning of the coup in the republic. Upon learning of the impending action, the KGB leadership sends to Uzbekistan the Don special forces group, Major Vyacheslav Bogdanov.
Operatives manage to capture one of the agents. He calls the exact time and objects of sabotage, as well as the address of a conspiratorial apartment. But the operatives find there only part of the sabotage group. The rest have already gone on a mission. Bogdanov understands: to prevent the tragedy, a matter of hours remain at his disposal...
