Tatar tales
We present you a unique anthology of fairy tales, covering all the faces of the original and bright Tatar folklore. This luxurious publication contains the best examples of works of folk art of the Volga, Siberian, Mountains and Crimean Tatars.
forty -two tales, which were included in this book, were recorded in the 19th - early 20th centuries from the words of folk storytellers by folklorists and ethnographers as well as school teachers and representatives of the national intelligentsia, then transferred, adapted for children's reading and artistically decorated with remarkable translators and linguists P. A. Polyakov, V. N. Kharuzina, E. Z. Baranov, V. A. Gattsuk, S. D. Kotsyubinsky, V. Kh. Kondaraki and others.
Most of these tales are published in Russia for the first time in almost a century and a half, and in the form of a single meeting illustrated by the works of Tatar and world painting, they were never printed.
The fascinating world of Tatar tales conquers its identity, an endless variety of genres and plots, the brightness of images, the wealth of fiction and the inexhaustibility of folk fantasy.
