Text and social context: sociolinguistic and discursive analysis of meaning.

The monographs reveal new approaches in the analysis of the meaning and understanding of the text in social contexts. A pragmatically oriented approach to the text and discourse in the post-Grace paradigm and the explanatory possibilities of contextualization as a factor that defines understanding and affects misunderstanding in social situations. Communicative activity in society is considered from the perspective of metaprogmatics, social indexation, language ideology, political correctness. These concepts create a special perspective in the analysis of explication and implicability in the statement, as well as in the study of agency, creative freedom of the subject expressing meanings, and the determinance of meaning in social practice. The language is analyzed along with other semiotic resources that participate in the generation of social meanings.
