The approximate basic educational program of the Discovery Preschool Education, edited by E. G. Yudina, is an innovative educational program document for preschool institutions, prepared taking into account the latest achievements of science and practice of domestic and foreign preschool education. The purpose of the program is to contribute to the development of personality abilities necessary to cope with life tasks and develop in a changing world. The “discovery” program helps the child develop such qualities as: critical thinking, creativity, fantasy, ingenuity, independence, initiative, responsibility, the ability to make a conscious choice, see and formulate problems, the desire to take care of people, society and the country. The Discovery Program is designed on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard and is intended for use in preschool educational organizations for the formation of basic educational programs.
