Gallia Belgica or Provincia Belgica - such a name received their territories inhabited by Celtic, German and Gallic tribes, in the era of Roman rule: the Belg tribe gave the name to all this region. Generations of the Belgians for centuries were forced to either fight on a variety of reasons in their homeland, or to serve foreign lords in the troops, who made Belgium part of their empires and kingdoms.
