The road runs forward. He rises into the mountains, descends into the valleys. Leaves behind small villages and large cities. Crosses small rivals and full -flowing rivers, endless fields and forests. It can be easy, or can cause many difficulties. It may be short, or it may turn out to be endless, likely, like life itself. In May 2018, the author landed at the airport of the Mexican Cancun to make the largest adventure in his life: to walk to the Argentinean Ushuai in the extreme southern South America. The book that you opened was written in Costa Rica during this incredible trip. A book about man, about his life, the life of the past, real and future. Insanely simple and at the same time incredibly complicated. Who are we? Why are we here? And what is our life? Banal and often thoughtless adherence to animal instincts or, perhaps, is it something more? A certain act of creation or even self -dissolution? On the way, exhausted by thousands of legs, it is difficult to detect the grain of truth. To find at least a kind of semblance, the author had to leave the beaten paths and get lost in the expanses of the unknown.
