The brilliance and poverty of Russian literature. Dovlatov S.

In the collection “The Brill between Russian Literature”, the philological prose of Sergei Dovlatov was first quite fully represented. He wrote about Pushkin and Tolstoy, V. Uflande and A. Sinyavsky, Kafka and Hemingway (as “Russian” and personal authors).

Reviews of Dovlatov, a magazine division, turn into literary portraits, then into essays of literary morals and close with the same “literature on literature” as “Invisible Book” or “Solo on Underwood”.

The philological prose of Dovlatov is not characterized by objectivity, but by personal tone, ulcerativeness, humor - the same properties that are characteristic of his “ordinary” prose.

The texts of S. Dovlatov were first accompanied by the real commentary of the professor, d. n. I.N. Sukhikh. He is the author of the introductory article for the book.
