“The colors of the partings” - the last collection of stories from the author of the novels “Reader”, “Woman on the stairs” and “Olga”. Nine graceful stories about love and friendship, family and loneliness, about aging and happiness. The heroes of these stories are very different, and each is forced to survive their own parting: one parted with innocence, the other with hope, the third with illusions and fears. However, the main theme of all stories, and all the work of Shlinka, starting with the famous “reader”, is the impossibility of parting with his own past.
