A good confessor is both a father, a friend, and a teacher; This is a person in whom, first of all, we see an assistant who will lead us to Christ. The rulers of Russia always had spiritual mentors who influenced their minds and souls, helping in difficult and dramatic situations for the country, blessing and supporting. The book presents stories about the confessors of the first persons of the Russian state: the great princes, Russian kings and emperors, leaders of the White movement and post -Soviet presidents. The book is allowed to disseminate the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church.
