Reading the “death of the language”, you involuntarily seek correspondences with the “twelve” of the block, but besides the approximate numerical similarity (13 chapters, and not 12), you find nothing in common. Vladimir Gandelsman is not even the death of the language, but his incommensurability with humanity, human being in the era of civil war and total landscaping. This in the poem is explicit masterfully.
As for the advantages and disadvantages of such a representation of “discontinuation”, what claims can be to incommensurability, to the quadrature of the circle? This is a “dance of death” with a wild twist and an incoherent crown, as in the final chapter.
