The diary of the writer. Dostoevsky F.M.

“The Writer’s Diary” F. M. Dostoevsky is a work that has no analogues in world literature. In January - August 1873, under the name, Dostoevsky led the heading in the journal "Citizen"; Later, returning to journalism, the writer began to release a diary in the form of his own separate magazine. “The Writer’s Diary”, in which the author responded to the most important events of our time, incorporated a variety of material: political articles, judicial essays, historical thoughts, judicial notes, literary criticism, art prose (“Boy at Christ on the Christmas tree”, “Mordant”, "Dream of a funny person", etc.). In terms of the coverage of topics and problems, it can be called a kind of encyclopedia of Russian life. By the depth of solving complex philosophical and social problems, the skill of psychological analysis of human relationships is comparable to Dostoevsky’s “great Pentateuch”.
