The Divine Comedy. Hell. Aligieri D.
This book presents the translation of the first Kantica of the greatest monument of world culture - “Divine Comedy” (1308–1321), performed by a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, doctor of pedagogical sciences V. G. Maantsman. Dante Aligier Ri, an educated person of his time, reflected in his poem the idea of the world, knowledge and culture of the Middle Ages in its entirety, thus creating a real medieval encyclopedia of scientific, political, philosophical, ethical, theological knowledge. He combined in his creation the traditional genre of “walks” into the afterlife and innovative reflection of modernity. The first part of the poem describes the path along all nine concentric circles of hell, forming a colossal funnel, the narrowing end of which adjoins the center of the Earth. This is the path from the vestibule, in which the souls of indecisive, insignificant people live, see you with Lucifer.
