In the book Sunday revelation of the Sunday Times journalist Brian Dira, the former British doctor Andrew Jeremy Wakefield, who gained fame after a falsified study of 1998, which falsely affirmed the connection between Kory's vaccine, epidemic mumps and rubella (MMR) and autism, and also autism, as well as for its subsequent anti -vecting activity. The British General Medical Council (GMC) conducted an investigation on accusations of the fraud of Wakefield and his two former colleagues, focusing on Brian Dir's conclusions. In 2010, the GMC found that Wakefield falsified his research, acted against the interests of his patients and poorly treated children with developmental delay [7] and "lost his duties as a responsible consultant." The Lancet revoked the publication of the 1998 Weikfield based on the results of the GMC, noting that the elements of the article were falsified and that the magazine was deceived by Weikfield. Three months later, Wakefield was expelled from the British medical registry, partly due to its intentional falsification of research published in The Lancet, and he was forbidden to engage in medical practice in the UK. The British court ruled that “at present there is no authoritative opinion supporting the hypothesis [Doctor Wakefield] that the MMR vaccine and autism/enterocolite are causally connected.”
