Edith Warton-the author of more than twenty novels and ten collections of stories-the first woman-writer, awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1921. Warton’s works such as “The Abode of Joy”, “Ethan Frome”, “The Age of Innociality”, “The Far of a Tree”, were included in the Golden Fund of American literature. The novel "The Age of Innociality" formed the basis of the film of the same name by Martin Scorsese, who has gained recognition and popularity.
