“Kumanika’s escape” can be called a diary of a traveling student, a network magazine of a new Werther, a monologue of a lover, notes from a madhouse. It can also be called a mystical detective: it has a monastery labyrinth, archaeologists, thieves, deceivers and even artifacts that can fulfill secret desires, but in return for taking life. The characters of this book do not call each other on the phone - they read someone else's mail, write emails, pass love messages through the hotel porter and leaf through the pages of a medieval manuscript.

Who are all these people? How did they be involved in history, which cannot be explained, but can be told - so that space and time lose their meaning? And what does the word “escape” mean in the title of the book-a reckless flight of captivity or a weak sprout on a prickly stem?
