The Far Eastern Star of Abwehra (Ivar Lissner). Hyune H., Katsube H.
In the book “The Lissner case” of the German researcher Hinets Hyune and in the memoirs of the Japanese historian Katsube Hajime, who was engaged in the “Sorge case” and met with Lissner in the Iokogamsk prison in 1944, the fate of Ivar Lissner, which was a mirror reflection of the fate of Zorge. Both were born in tsarist Russia, both possessed high intellectual potential, both became journalists, both worked in China and Japan and were well acquainted. The only difference was that if Sorge initially took a sharply anti-fascist position and struggled with Hitler’s regime on the side of the USSR, then Lissner had to go a long way from the conscious promotion of the ideas of National Socialism to the understanding of his essence literally suffered in the Japanese dungeon.
