The publication is dedicated to the role of the First Moscow Order of Lenin of the Medical Institute in the organization of medical care to the wounded fighters of the Red Army, in the training of medical personnel for the front during the Great Patriotic War. The book has an analysis of the main tasks solved by domestic medicine in the war years (the organization of medical care during hostilities), and labor exploits of employees of medical universities in evacuation that organized a system of training for the front and domestic health care.
