Elena Ilyina (1901-1964?)-The pseudonym of Liya Yakovlevna Marshak, his sister Samuel Yakovlevich Marshak. It has written many stories, poems and fairy tales for young and middle children, but its most famous work is the story “The Fourth Height”, which tells about the Gule (Marionella) Koroleva, her childhood, youth and feat during the Great Patriotic War. As a child, she played several roles in the cinema, and for one of them she received a ticket to Artek. She was interested in everything around, for any business she took a lot of hunting: she learned to dive from the tower, sit on a horse without a saddle, correct two, educate her character and be bold. But the war soon began, and she voluntarily went to the front, where she helped the wounded and pulled about a hundred fighters from under the fire. The Gulya died in 1942, when she was only twenty years old. The book “The Fourth Height” is a real monument to an ordinary Soviet schoolgirl who gave his life for his homeland.
