The genuine story of McE-Fi doe. Oldridge D.
The author of the famous novel “Last inch” James Oldridge (1918-2015) tells the story of an orphan nicknamed Pievak, who lives in a small Australian town of Saint Elena with his eccentric grandfather Fayf McCo in an unusual house, more similar to the boiler. Pitting is a real descendant of the first Australian settlers: brave, dexterous, always ready to take a chance. The boy is only ten, and he is already the best fisherman in the whole city. True, the relations with the neighbors of the spent are complex: adults consider him strange, and the peers look at him with fearful admiration. When the grandfather of the spit dies, the usual life of the boy comes to an end. He, a small barefoot savage, wants to adopt two families at once. And he wants to live on its own.
