The gold of the alder gorge. Schulz J.U.
Apikuni- a distant white shirt- such a name gave the Indians-Blane to the writer James Willard Schultsu (1859-1947), who lived among them for a long time, traded with them, studied their story, beliefs and customs, was married to a girl from the tribe Pieganov. Schulz's books open a window to readers to the world of the Indians of the Old West, the world of hunters, soldiers, travelers, healers, the world of pristine nature - the world of Apikuni.
The next volume of the works of Schulz included works, first published in Russian. This story, not quite ordinary for his work, resemble, rather, classic westerns. There are gold miners and bandits, heroes solve mysterious notes, look for missing treasures, face hostile Indians and white robbers. Their adventures are based on genuine facts and unfold against the background of the majestic and wildlife of the American West, in places that are well known to the author.
