The Great Siberian Ice Judge. Comp. Volkov S.V.
The book is the 22nd volume of the series dedicated to the white movement in Russia, and considers the fighting of the White troops during the Great Siberian Ice campaign, which is one of the most tragic pages of the history of the Civil War in Siberia. Chronologically, the campaign covers the period from mid -November 1919 (the abandonment of Omsk) until mid -February 1920 (the execution of A.V. Kolchak and the arrival of the whites in the Chita region). Later events are also affected: the crowding out of the whites from Transbaikalia by the fall of 1920, the fate of the Orenburg, Ural and Altai Cossacks, events in Vladivostok. Among the authors of Tom, famous memoirists are Petrov, Sakharov, Meib, Efimov. Much attention in the book is given the history of the death of General V.O. Kappel.
The book is equipped with extensive and first published comments containing several hundred unknown biographical references about the authors and heroes of essays.
