“Witch's Hammer” is the notorious “Witch's Guide for Witch Hunters”, written by the monk Henry Kramer and Dean of the University of Cologne by Jacob Sprenger.

The book was published in 1487 and withstood 29 reprints, gaining the same popularity throughout the whole religious split in Europe. Own inquisitorial activity, which led to the burning of two hundred women and the shameful exile of Kramer from the Inquisitorial Service for fanaticism and cruelty.

The result turned out to be the exact opposite of the expected-the Inquisition aimed at the destruction of heretics and religious freemen, condemned in the year 1490 the author himself.
