from the author
Magic has always been considered a mystical, powerful force that they were afraid and respected, - invisible, but quite real. Some ancient peoples believed that if you leave the offers for gods and goddesses in the temples, they would share their magic and send well -being to people. Some thought that witches and sorcerers could be curbed in magic. As soon as those who used magic were not called: witches, magicians, sorcerers, wizards, shamans. All of them were attributed to the ability to do good to others with the help of spells, potions and witchcraft rituals (for example, to predict the future or impose curses).
Our story begins five thousand years ago, in the cradle of human civilization in the Middle East , where the sorcerers-priests with the help of magic tried to heal the sick. We will go through the whole story: we will see the harsh Scandinavian predictors, listen to how the medieval witches read the spells, we will figure out how the amulets of Voodoo priests do, and we will learn much more. And we will get acquainted with some ancient myths associated with magic, and meet with the most famous witches and sorcerers.
