Tolstoy in 83 verses, telling about the history of the Russian state from Gostomysl to Timashev, and a detailed illustrated commentary on poems, allowing carefully, as if looking into dictionaries and encyclopedias, to read one of the favorite works of the outstanding writer.

The book is prepared using the Technology “Book in the Book”, organically combining reference material (more than 500 articles and more than 100 images) and the text of the poem. The design used illustrations by Ekaterina Klimova.
