The daughter of a Shanghai millionaire decides to take accounts with life under the influence of a guru from a thematic Internet community. Intending to save her, the Christian priest turns to a friend of childhood for help - a Japanese psychiatrist who is experiencing a professional crisis. During the investigation, the doctor gets acquainted with the Russian pianist, another victim of the Internet guru. The typhoon, covering the city with a pouring rain, sets a special rhythm of the narrative, pushing the heroes and again removing them from each other.
