The book contains interesting facts from the life of the Orthodox ascetics, when, through the innermost gift of the elder’s perspicacity in the fate of a particular person, the Providence of God miraculously manifested itself. These are the moments when you are especially obviously felt by the caring presence of God, when God reveals His will to us and shows the care of our salvation, speaks with us their lips when, through the old man’s loving heart, the Lord inconspicuously concerns the hearts of many who are near him.
