Alexander Belyaev (1884-1942) was a child with an unusually wide circle of interests. He constructed aircraft, photographed, played on musical instruments, played serious roles in the performances of the People’s Theater in his youth and studied Esperanto's language. He traveled and studied. His life was unusually saturated until a terrible disease laid him in six years in bed. He spent three of them in a corset. Having defeated the disease, he becomes a professional writer.
