The Karamazov brothers. Dostoevsky F.M.
“The Brothers of the Karamazovs” (1880)-the last novel of Dostoevsky, the pinnacle of his work, in a sense, the main work of his whole life and one of the greatest works in the history of world literature. Associated with death and theft, full of intensity and passions, a love story that unfolds in the eyes of the reader family drama, complex psychological ups and downs, many woven in the main outline of other action -packed lines - all this was accommodated in the novel “Brothers Karamazov”, the main problem of which is the question of God And the immortality of the soul. And in the center of the narrative, as always with Dostoevsky, a person tormented by doubts, torn by passions, eager for love, power, money, rushing from good to evil and from evil to good, looking for his own way, his faith, his god.
The novel formed the basis of dozens of film adaptations - domestic and foreign - and all the time becomes the subject of directorial experiments. But, probably, those who believe that not one, even the most talented, settles are not able to convey the entire depth of this prose.
