The time of the novel is the 21st century, the main event is the Norman conquest of England. On the caravan route in Asia Minor there are a combatant of the English King Harold, the Norman Minstrel, a fugitive German monk and a beautiful Greek woman. Their road adventures are interspersed with the memories of the protagonist about the patriarchal life of the British to the battle of Gastings. The author leads an exciting game with the reader and sometimes weaves fiction threads into his canvas, turning a historical novel into a likeness of Fantasy.
