The last flight of the eagle. Glagoleva E.V.
Going into the exile to the island of Elba, Napoleon Bonaparte promised to “return with violets” and restrained his word: on March 20, 1815, the imperial eagle flew to Paris, thereby turning the life of many people. “In the days of political crises, the most difficult thing for an honest person is not to fulfill his duty, but to understand what he consists of,” said one contemporary. And in fact - not everyone understood. Benjamen Constant, who denounced the usurper Napoleon, sharply changed his eyes and began to help him. The hero of the two revolutions, General Lafayette became a deputy of the House of Representatives convened by Bonaparte to draw up an opposition to him. Marshals covered with wounds passed on one side to the other. And only the Duke of Wellington knew for sure: his duty is to finally defeat Napoleon.
This is told about this by the new novel by the writer Ekaterina Glagoleva, who is a kind of epilogue for the long life of Napoleon Bonaparte.
