The textbook covers the organizational and legal foundations of the activity of the notary and the rules for performing notarial actions. Particular attention is paid to issues of the history and theory of notaries, the analysis of legislative short stories, including the creation of a unified information system of notaries, notarial actions related to the use of information technology, with state registration of real estate rights and transactions with it. The analyzed material is based on regulatory legal acts about notaries, special literature on the problems of notaries and notarial activities. Methodological recommendations are presented, a list of sources for studying topics of the course. The publication was prepared by employees of the Department of Civil Procedure of the Law Faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov and notaries of Moscow and the Moscow Region.
