The life of Jesus Christ. Farrar F.V.

In the book of F.V. Farrara “The Life of Jesus Christ” through literary and historical analysis, a holistic picture of the Earth’s life of the Savior is recreated. The author builds the narrative in chronological order, with skill, passing individual gospel plots that are presented rather compressed in the Gospels themselves, and filling the gaps between the individual parts of the gospel history. The translation of this book, executed by A.P. Lopukhin, was extremely critical of the Russian clergy at one time. M. A. Bulgakov relied on “The Life of Jesus Christ” in this translation when creating the novel “Master and Margarita”.
