The madness of ordinary ortheris. Kipling R.J.
The collection “The Madness of Private Orteris” included the stories of Redyard Kipling (1865–1936), written from 1886 to 1904. In small prose, more than in any other forms, the innovation of the English writer was manifested. Combining the bright fantasy, observation and skill of the narrator, Kipling brought to the stage of a new hero - a simple, ordinary person who reveals courage and fortitude in unusual, often dangerous situations. The writer for the first time applied the reporting technique, presenting in return for open copyright assessments and moralizing the detached, but insightful narrator, transforming the essay into a plot factual novel. Hence the compression, laconicism, the energetic rhythm of his prose - and at the same time the depth of the development of the most important problems: love and freedom, war and peace, east and west.
“The greatest master of the story”, according to S. Maam, Kipling opened A new page in the history of English prose and forever entered the classics of world literature.
