The manuscript found in Saragos is the most significant work of a wonderful Polish scientist, diplomat, traveler and writer Jan Pototsky (1761-1815). The young officer is in a hurry to return to his part, but, unable to open the enchanted circle, invariably appears near the Sierra-Moren of the tavern, next to which gallows with the bodies of two bandits rise. The branched plot is replete with geographical throws and temporary displacements (from Spain we fall on the banks of the Nile, in ancient knightly castles, on Corsica, Sardinia, Malta, in Tunisia, in Morocco, in ancient Greece and Judea). Sometimes the reader seems to be in the maze of fairy tales of thousands and one night.
