Francis Hodgson Burnett is an English writer, who became known thanks to such works as the “mysterious garden”, “Maleyny Lord Fountler”, as well as “Maleyny Princess”.

After the parents of the main character of the novel - Mary Lennox - die from cholera, she is given to the care of a non -native uncle, living in a huge mansion. Her life begins to change dramatically when she learns about the existence of a mysterious garden, reliably hidden from the eyes of people. Together with newfound friends, she begins to take care of him and opens her heart to good and love.
