The mythography of narcotism. Tikhomirov S.

This work is the first thematic study on mythography in the field of consumption of psychoactive substances in Russia. The scientific publication introduces the ancient myths about the "magic" plants, substances and modern ideas about the manipulation myth -making of the Public Institute for Counteoculture of narcotism. The results of the study and analysis of the myths of narcoticism conducted by historians, ethnographers, culturalists, psychologists and the author - a psychiatrist -narcologist are a systematization of knowledge on the influence of myths about narcotism on the health and behavior of people. The author contrasts lies and fraud involving people, primarily minors and youth, in drug consumption, scientifically established and reasonable facts that impede the ingress of slow suicide into the abyss, which are drug addiction. The study is addressed, first of all, to specialists working with consumers of psychoactive substances: psychiatrists-narcologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, sociologists, social workers, anthropologists, addictologists, deviantologists, teachers, educators, relatives of patients with drug addiction, as well as everyone who is not indifferent Overcoming the problem of narcotism in our society.
