The author by profession is a lawyer, graduated from the Law Faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. He worked as an investigator in the investigative units of the prosecutor's office of the USSR and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, was a senior investigator for especially important cases of the Main Investigation Department of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. He headed the legal inspectorate of the industry trade union, was vice president of the International Fuel and Energy Association, deputy chairman of the investment and commercial bank. Wrote a number of works on legal issues.
