“The poverty of philosophy” is a book with which it all began: the theory of capitalism, and the doctrine of surplus value, and the victorious history of the proletariat. Then, 200 years ago, still quite young Karl Marx wrote his answer to the sensational “philosophy of poverty” of the French politician and economist Pierre Joseph Proudhon. This book in the 20th century was destined to become one of the most important theoretical works of Marxism.
