We tried to maintain the brevity of the first edition. The language is small in volume, and there is no great sense in writing thick books about him. We improved the presentation of key questions - such as signs, which are the central moment in programming on S. We finalized the initial examples, and also added new to some of the chapters. For example, the story of complex ads is supplemented by a program for converting declarations into text descriptions and vice versa. As before, all examples are tested and debugged directly from the text, which is prepared in electronic form. As stated in the preface to the first edition, the language with "it becomes more convenient as the experience of working with it is growing."
