The responsibilities of a person. Majini J.
Giuseppe Madzini (1805-1872)-the main ideologist RIPZHIMENTO, movements for the reunification of Italy in the 19th century. The fiery patriot and revolutionary, literary critic and journalist, he had a noticeable influence on the European thought of his time. Thomas Carleil and Georges Sand were friends with him, Mikhail Bakunin and Alexander Herzen were polemicized.
His huge creative heritage is a hundred volumes, but the main work in which Majini summed up his political and moral and ethical views is a small and at the same time very capacious composition of the “Human Responsibilities” (i860). Written in the form of an appeal to the Italian workers, it claims that the rights of a citizen can only be the result of a fulfilled duty, and the pursuit of material interests leads a person and society to catastrophic consequences.
In Russia, the full translation of this most important thing for political philosophy of work saw the light only once, in 1917. This publication has long become a bibliographic rarity and only specialists are known. After more than a hundred years, we publish the text in the new edition, providing it with modern analytical materials.
