Charles Baudelaire presented to the publication a collection of Les Paradis Artificels (Dol. Artificial Paradise) in 1860. By that time, the poet has already overcome an opium dependence, but he returns to the topic, in those years not taboo, to systematize knowledge. This is a real study, scientific parts, parts with ordered empirical experience of the poet himself and other famous participants (J.-J. Moro, T. Gauthier and, of course, T. de Queens). Bodler is objective, he talks about all affects, thoughts and consequences without embellishment and exaltation. The work remains worthy in the genre of psychedelic diary, as well as notes by T. Gauthier, T. de Queens or “Perception Doors” by O. Haxly.
