Assessment of the activity of a particular historical figure is always subjective. And largely depends on the documents on which the researcher has to rely on, and, of course, on the conscientiousness of the scientist. The European historical tradition often a priori enrolled in the category of “cruel barbarians” of everyone who wore the title “Khan”.
