Russian writer and political thinker Alexander Nikolaevich Radishchev (1749-1802) was a major official: the actual head of the St. Petersburg Customs under Catherine II and an employee of the commission on the drawing up of the laws under Alexander I. But his main merit was the sample of the civil behavior of the Son of the Fatherland. Having written an article on how such a person should behave, he implemented this model, creating and publishing the book “Journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow” (1790). In 2019, it marks the 270th anniversary of the writer, and in 2020 - 230 years of his famous book. These dates are devoted to the real edition.
